In the late 1940's, America's favorite horse and rider traveled by private railcar to Buford, Georgia for a custom Bona Allen show saddle. This sculpture depicts the fitting of that saddle for Trigger and Roy Rogers.
This Hollywood business connection illustrates the nation's recognition of the skilled craftsmen found in this area for over 100 years. The saddlemaker stands in tribute to the generations responsible for this area's historic industry. |
